About me.

I worked as a Film Producer for many years before deciding to make a complete career change. Throughout my life I have always been fascinated by the rituals that we use to mark the stages of our lives and in particular those of funerals.

My training includes a First Class Honours Degree in English from Southampton University. I have worked as bereavement volunteer for Cruse on their National Helpline. I run social media for The Natural Death Centre Charity.

I have undertaken several training courses to assist in my ability to support families.
Ascentis Level 2 Support of the Bereaved.
  NAFD Funeral Service Awareness Course.
Suicide Prevention UK's "PABBS Evidence Based Suicide Bereavement Training"
Ceremonial Care of The Body - Holly's Funerals.

I work as a Home Funeral Guide and am happy to have a chat if you are interested in this approach.
I can provide funeral planning meetings if you wish to leave a plan for your family to follow.
I run a charity providing practical support to the Baby Loss community called The Cot Project.

I am passionate about the requests of the family and friends being at the heart of everything I do.
I live in Hampshire with my husband, three children, three dogs, one cat, 19 chickens and an elderly little pony called Harvey.

Testimonials

"I wanted to say the biggest thank you for leading Dad's service yesterday, it was all we hoped and wished for. You really went over and above for us and we are really grateful"

"I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you. I can't express how much you've helped my family these past few weeks. Your professionalism and soft personal touch has been first class. As terrible as these times are, having someone like yourself to guide us through it has been a true blessing."
